The Illini Dads Association is very pleased to announce the winners for the 2021 Dads Association Scholarships. Six students were selected for this year’s scholarship and, after receiving 45 applications, these students were chosen to receive $2,000 each.

The six recipients are:

• Connor Chistian, Senior, majoring in Agriculture Leadership and Science Education
• Cacia Kaupp, Freshman, majoring in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences
• Dawid Kluszczynski, Junior, majoring in Computer Science and Statistics
• Samantha Latz, Sophomore, majoring in Chemistry
• Sophie Luijten, Junior, majoring in Global Studies and Spanish
• Kaijing Yan, Sophomore, majoring in Accountancy and Finance

The Dads Association at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was established in 1922 and is one of the nation’s oldest parent organizations. Scholarships from the Dads Association are given out annually in addition to grants that are given to campus programs and initiatives. The Illini Dads Association is a proud partner of the Illinois Union Parents and Family Programs Office in pursuit of serving as a parent liaison to the campus. We are focused on supporting programs, service, and activities that promote the health, safety, and well-being of the university community.
