17 Recipients Awarded Total of $12,000

Champaign, IL (December 1, 2021) The Dads Association at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign recently announced the recipients of the 2021-2022 Dads Association Grant Program. This year, 17 recipients were awarded at total of $12,000 in grants this year. 

This year’s grant recipients were:

  • Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers
  • Department of Public Safety/C.O.A.S.T.
  • Facilities & Services
  • Illini Formula Electric
  • Illinois Men’s Rugby Club
  • Campus Recreation
  • Phi Chi Theta Professional Business Fraternity
  • Strengthening and Empowering Educators of Diverse Statuses
  • Engineers in Action Bridge Program
  • The Illinois Space Society
  • Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations
  • Illini 4000
  • Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority
  • Illini Solar Car
  • Illinois Triathlon Club
  • The Punch Line
  • Illinois Women’s Rugby Club

The Dads Association at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, established in 1922, is believed to be one of the nation’s oldest parent organizations. In addition to awarding annual grants, The Dads Association awards six scholarships in the amount of $2,000 to exceptional students. We also support programs, services, and activities that promote the health, safety, and well-being of the University community. We partner with the Illini Union Parents and Family Programs office to help serve as a parent liaison to the campus.
